April 1st, 2023, Phlip Kumar Reang, the recentlyelected MLA of Kanchanpur Constituency, visited Khumpui ADC village yesterday to assess the damage caused by a house fire. He also toured areas affected by recent storms, accompanied by SDM officials.
During his visit, he inspected the ongoing construction of a new building for Gachiram High School, and reviewed the progress of earlier work done under the BEUP schemes. He also visited the Ananda Bazar market, where he observed the poor condition of the drainage system, particularly during the rainy season.
Mr. Reang instructed the DC and SDM officials to take immediate steps to improve the drainage system and ensure the welfare of the people in the affected areas. He expressed his commitment to visiting all the places within his constituency in the coming days to assess the needs of his constituents and work towards their betterment.
