Paul Dangshu, the MLA from the Karamchara constituency, visited two villages named Koiram Para and Ratha Kumar Para today. These two villages come under the 'Model Village Scheme' initiated by the government, where more than 100 families are residing without access to basic facilities like electricity and drinking water. The villages do have schools and ICDS centers, but the lack of electricity and drinking water is a major concern for the inhabitants.

During his visit, Mr. Dangshu also discovered that the villages have a worshiping place called 'Hapong Raja,' where thousands of worshippers gather every year since decades. Despite the importance of the place, the lack of basic facilities poses a significant challenge to the worshippers.

Upon seeing the pictures of the villages and their condition, Mr. Dangshu has decided to push the limit for the rights of the villagers and do the needful from his capacity. He has expressed his desire to demand the necessary facilities instead of begging for them.

The pictures of the villages clearly depict the plight of the inhabitants, and it is high time that authorities take note of the situation and take necessary action to improve the living conditions of the villagers. It is the responsibility of the government to provide basic facilities to all citizens, and the lack of electricity and drinking water in these villages is a clear violation of this right. It is commendable that Mr. Dangshu has taken note of the situation and is willing to fight for the rights of the villagers.
