IDBI Bank Extends CSR Support to Ompi CHC for Strengthening Community Healthcare Services

Motivational CSR Programme Held at Ompi Nagar CHC

A motivational Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme was organized today at the Ompi Nagar Community Health Centre (CHC) through a joint initiative of Ompi CHC and the IDBI Bank, Ompi Nagar Branch. The event was inaugurated by Shri Pathan Lal Jamatia, Hon’ble MLA of 41-Ompi Constituency, in the presence of several dignitaries and officials.

As per official reports, the entire programme was sponsored by the IDBI Bank, Ompi Nagar Branch, as part of their CSR contribution towards community welfare and sustainable development. In an effort to strengthen healthcare services at Ompi CHC, the bank authorities donated various essential medical equipment, including BP machines, stethoscopes, glucometers, hemoglobinometers, nebulizer machines, and weighing machines, among others.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Milan Bhakta Jamatia, Medical Officer In-Charge of Ompi CHC, expressed his sincere gratitude to the IDBI Bank for their generous support and initiative. He stated, “We express our sincere appreciation to the IDBI Bank, Ompi Nagar Branch, for their sponsorship and commitment to promoting public health and organic initiatives. Ompi CHC has several deficiencies, and these essential equipments will significantly help us enhance the healthcare services provided to the community. We remain grateful to the bank for their philanthropic gesture.”

Among the distinguished guests present at the programme were Shri Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Chairman, Ompi BAC; Shri Anumeya Chandra, Branch Manager, IDBI Bank, Ompi Nagar; along with other notable personalities and staff members of the CHC.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the IDBI Bank authorities for their continuous contribution towards the betterment of community health and welfare.
