Three Youths Arrested in Tripura for Alleged Ties to JMB Terrorist Group

the Sepahijala district police in Tripura have arrested three youngsters with alleged ties to the Bangladesh-based terrorist group Jamaat Ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). The operation was conducted on Saturday night in Khadyokhola village under Bishalgarh police station after the central intelligence services provided a tip-off.

The three individuals captured during the operation were identified as Imran Hossain (24), Abul Kashem (32), and Hameed Ali (34). According to police sources, Imran's name was revealed during the interrogation of two JMB terrorists who were apprehended in Bhopal last month.

All three accused were produced before the Sepahijala district court, which ordered them to be held in judicial custody until April 7. The police have stated that they are investigating the extent of the trio's involvement with the terrorist organization and will take appropriate action based on their findings.

The arrest of these individuals underscores the continuing threat posed by terrorist organizations such as JMB and the need for heightened vigilance and cooperation between law enforcement agencies to prevent such activities. The authorities have urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the police to ensure the safety and security of the community.
