Teenager Commit suicide after father scolded for Stealing 1 lakh and buying IPhone



 A shocking incident has been reported from Maharashtra, where a 17-year-old boy took his own life after allegedly being scolded by his father for stealing money from home to purchase an iPhone. The incident came to light on Wednesday, according to the police.

The investigation revealed that the boy, who lived with his parents and two sisters, had recently completed his Class XII exams with a score of 48%. He had visited his uncle's house in Mira Road a week ago to explore educational opportunities in Mumbai.

pparently, the boy's father had kept 1 lakh rupees in cash in their cupboard. Two days ago, the father discovered that the money was missing and confronted his son. The boy admitted to taking the money and using it to buy an iPhone.

Following the confrontation, the father scolded his son and asked him to return home. Initially, the boy agreed to go back, but he later changed his mind and tragically decided to take his own life.

During the investigation, the police found the boy's identity card and discovered two mobile phones in his possession, including an iPhone 14. The Mahatma Phule police have filed an accidental death report, and the body has been handed over to the family for the final rites.

This incident highlights the emotional distress and extreme measures some young individuals may resort to when faced with parental reprimand.
