Prominent party leader in Agartala announced that the Tipra Motha would organise a "mega rally" at Vivekananda Ground on Saturday to forward its demand for Greater Tipraland.
Along with its president Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl, the regional party's founder and chairman, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, will speak to the crowd, the leader announced.
PBKM Debbarma stated in a Wednesday interview with reporters that the Tripura natives would like to remind "those in Delhi" of their persistent desire.
Tomorrow, all roads will lead to only one address ‘Astabal, #Agartala’

To inform Delhi residents of their constitutional demands, a sizable crowd of Tiprasa people would congregate at Vivekananda Ground. There won't be a procession or banner-raising in Agartala; only a big crowd, he declared.
The royal scion continued, "Delhi will have to pay heed and embrace our voice.
The Greater Tipraland' separate state for the indigenous people of Tripura is what the Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) Motha, which was introduced in 2021, is aiming for.
In its surprising political debut, the party took home 16 of the 28 seats in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections last year.
