Chance Encounter at Agartala Airport Turns into Political Controversy in Tripura

In a surprising turn of events, a chance encounter at Agartala MBB Airport has turned into a political controversy in Tripura. Bubhagra Pradyut manikya Debbarman, a prominent political leader in the state, arrived at the airport from Guwahati and was waiting for his luggage in the VIP waiting room when he bumped into some BJP netas.

According to a Facebook post by Bubhagra Pradyut manikya Debbarman, the BJP leaders greeted him and he politely replied. However, a photo of the encounter was taken and circulated by the BJP's so-called IT cell, claiming that it was part of a discussion about forming an alliance with the BJP for the next Tripura general election.

Bubhagra Pradyut manikya Debbarman has vehemently denied these claims and called out the BJP for spreading false information. He stated in his Facebook post, "those who took this picture and are spreading this have to be really cheap people. I sometimes meet in a public place Jitendra babu of CPI(M), I meet Congress and TMC leaders, but it’s always whenever that I bump into BJP leaders this sort of nonsense is spread."

The incident has sparked a debate in Tripura's political circles, with many questioning the motives behind the BJP's actions. Some have accused the party of trying to create a false narrative to gain political mileage, while others have called for a more measured response from all sides.

The BJP has not yet responded to the allegations made by Bubhagra Pradyut manikya Debbarman, and it remains to be seen how the situation will develop in the coming days. However, the incident serves as a reminder of the power of social media in shaping public opinion and the need for responsible behavior on all sides.
