The TIPRA Motha Party has announced a massive rally on August 5 at Khumulwng, demanding constitutional recognition of Greater Tipraland. In a press conference held today, party chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma stated that the state government has failed to address indigenous concerns despite repeated negotiations. The rally is expected to attract thousands of supporters from across the tribal districts including Dhalai, Gomati, and North Tripura. Security has been beefed up in sensitive zones.
